Cinema Arts Festival 2010
Black Swan added to Cinema Arts Festival
Oscar buzz is already surrounding the latest addition to Houston's Cinema Arts Festival — (newly single) Darren Aronofsky's psychological ballet thriller Black Swan.
Natalie Portman plays a disturbed ballerina in the New York City Ballet on the brink of a breakdown opposite Mila Kunis in the dark and visually striking drama. Supporting roles by Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey and Vincent Cassell round out a cast in the movie that's likely to be busy this awards season.
Black Swan will screen as the festival's grande finale Sunday at 4:15 p.m. at the Edwards Greenway. Advance tickets are available at www.cinemartsociety.org.
