Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has a well-documented love for grenades and landmines. His Jersey Shore hookups have bordered on the bestial, but apparently five-time US National Professional Dance Champion Karina Smirnoff just doesn't do it for him, and she's deeply offended.

“He hasn’t hit on me! And I’m taking it as an insult," the Dancing With the Stars pro told Access Hollywood. “Like, what am I? A grenade?”

Obviously Miss Smirnoff isn't a die-hard Shore fan. If she were familiar with the groups's quirky terminology, she'd know she'd sooner qualify as a landmine — the grenade's more lithe, but equally undesirable counterpart.

Smirnoff's probably not taking the lack of Sorrentino's advances too hard; she's dating pro baseball player Brad Penny (who's been hurt almost all season and has plenty of time on his hands). Smirnoff may not even have to spend much more time with the Shore's resident cad, given his dancing, and it could be worse.

At least she's not a grundle choad.
