Wasn't that, like, a while ago?
George W. Bush will spill his secrets (and deep thoughts) to Matt Lauer

It's another presidential coup for daytime TV.
Although the Nov. 8 interview will air in primetime as a special "Matt Lauer Reports," the Today host has snagged the first one-on-one interview with the former President in the almost two years since W. left office in January 2009.
Bush will join Lauer again on the Today show two days later — no word yet who the accompanying musical guest will be.
The NBC interviews are to promote Bush's forthcoming book, Decision Points (we assume Decider Points got vetoed by his handlers. Where were they in 2003, we wonder?)
The only looming question over Bush's appearance on the morning news program is why the exclusive went to Lauer and not to Bush's daughter, contributing correspondent Jenna Bush Hager. The girl's a natural.
