Avril Lavigne's beef
Deep thoughts on Britney Spears' half baked "I Wanna Go" video
Hey, you know that somewhat catchy song playing on all the new Bravo commercials? It's Britney, bitch!
The video for Spears' third single off Femme Fatale, "I Wanna Go," leaked online Wednesday, and it's, well, it's better than "Gimme More." Britney and and director Chris Marrs Piliero pack in cyborgs, fingerless gloves, microphone violence and a painfully unfunny recreation of Half Baked into a somewhat crazy four and a half minutes. Watch it and see how your first impressions compare.
1. I like how carefully Britney walks in wearing her five-inch studded Louboutins, since we all know she insists on wearing Uggs even while filming the dance scenes in her videos.
2. Ugh, Half Baked, really? Girlfriend, if you don't want to talk to the press, don't call a press conference! Did you just get lost looking for the bathroom? Trust me, they don't want to be there either.
3. I'm pretty sure the shredded clothes + studs + pink extensions look is copyrighted by Avril Lavigne circa 2001. She isn't gonna like this.
4. Whyyy is she flashing a child? Isn't that illegal?
5. I'm not saying Britney is high, but her eyes look hella red in these "singing" close-ups, amirite? Who else thinks she scarfed some Cheetos as soon as she finished that take?
6. STOP TAKING PICTURES OF ME! I'M JUST SINGING ON TOP OF A CAB IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC.
7. If I was that cop I would have arrested her for those fingerless gloves.
8. The marquee that says "Crossroads 2: Cross Harder" is amazing.
9. Oh wait, she's wearing a bikini top underneath her jacket. So if she wasn't flashing her boobs what was everyone staring at? Maybe they were just expecting them to be bigger, since everyone talks about her teenage boob job. I know I did.
10. I don't even have words for what is happening with this milk, but I can only imagine that it's spoiled since its been sitting in the back of a convertible. Not that it would be less gross if it wasn't.
11. I liked this video better when it was by Willa Ford and called "I Wanna Be Bad."
