Adoptable Cat
You'll 'heart' friendly feline Fiona, now waiting for you at the Houston SPCA
Pets are often thought of as lifelong friends, and that exactly describes Fiona the domestic short hair cat.
She was recently brought to the Houston SPCA after her owner passed away, and naturally she was a bit shy at first.
But now the three-year-old, 8-pound cat has blossomed into the "purr-fect" feline friend, even earning the nickname Happy Cat for the cute little "chirps" she makes and tippy-toe-tap dance she does when people come around.
Fiona loves to greet new friends and adores being petted — unusual for typically stand-offish cats, but that's just another sign of her great personality.
With her cute black and white heart-shape marking on her nose, Fiona brings smiles to everyone who visits the adoption center.
If you'd like to come meet her in person, visit the William and Evelyn Griffin Campus for All Animals this weekend. Houston SPCA is open every day from 11 am-6 pm.
Every adoption includes a microchip, spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, a free sample bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, and a free post-exam from any VCA Animal Hospital.
Fiona's adoption fee is only $35, which seems a very small price to pay for your next best friend.
