1. Exclusive: Ronnie Killen explains surprise decision to close Woodlands steakhouse. Killen’s Steakhouse has closed its location in The Woodlands, effective immediately. Chef-owner Ronnie Killen spoke exclusively with CultureMap, sharing the reasons for the closure and sale of the building.
2. Dairy Queen closes 25 Texas locations, including 5 in greater Houston. More than two dozen Dairy Queen restaurants across Texas have closed, including five in the greater Houston area, and the stores' furnishings were on the auction block.
3. Houston charity dining event returns with $25 dinners and $15 lunches. February 15 marked the beginning of Eat Drink HTX, the more affordable sister event to Houston Restaurant Weeks, featuring special dining deals at casual restaurants. It runs through February 28.
4. Bun B beefs up RodeoHouston presence with 'Trill Town' and tendies. For his fourth year at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Bun B is expanding his presence to be bigger and better than ever with a dedicated area called Trill Town.

5. Southern-inspired steakhouse rebrands to grow beyond Houston. A globally-inspired Houston steakhouse will soon have a new name. Beginning March 3, The Warwick will be known as Winsome Prime. The new name paves the way for expansion, with plans in the works for Dallas and more.
