A three-hour rush
George W. Bush is a complete sellout in River Oaks
Former President and ex-Texas Governor George W. Bush will be stopping by the River Oaks Barnes & Noble Wednesday morning for a book signing of his new memoirs Decision Points.
Bush is scheduled to start signing at 8:30 a.m., though if you don't already have tickets, you won't see him. Barnes & Noble tells CultureMap that the store completely sold out of entry wristbands in just three hours and there is no additional waiting list. You had to buy Decision Points to get a wristband and W will sign a maximum of two books per person. The Secret Service is also not allowing any "personal belongings" in the event space. Leave that purse at home.
But hey, at least there's no shortage of Starbucks sustenance if you want to get there early and try to catch a glimpse.
