Ghosts don't leave
The Titanic just won't sink at HMNS: Haunted exhibit's run extended
One would have to be living under a rock to have missed Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, which opened on March 16 at the Houston Museum of Natural Science and celebrated its centennial anniversary in our midst.
But if you're one of those unlucky few, there's still time to see it: HMNS recently announced that the exhibition, originally slated to close on Sept. 3, has been extended by popular demand through Sept. 23.
The immersive, informative, supposedly haunted exhibit showcases more than 300 artifacts from that ill-fated ship — a surprising array from china plates to eyeglasses to perfectly-preserved clothing.
Non-museum-member adults can snag a ticket to the special exhibition for $27; children from 3 to 11 and seniors over 62 cost $20. HMNS members (adults and children) can get in for $12.
