Did she really say that?
Real housewife mixes it up with Houston bachelors to tout new talk show
When Bethenny Frankel throws a party, she does it with style. Hitting Houston with her "Calling All My Girls" tour to celebrate the launch of her new talk show, Bethenny, Frankel hosted a crowd of over 100 at Hudson Lounge Monday night.
Hitting the small stage promptly at 7 p.m. — notably on-time — the former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After describe her new talk show as female-centric dealing with the kind of issues you would discuss with your best friend.
When Luong took his turn center stage, Frankel cut to the chase, asking the bachelor and criminal defense attorney, "How big is your penis and how much do you make?"
Since the talk show is aimed at female TV viewers, Frankel anticipated a mostly female assembly of fans at her Houston stop. "Since there are more women than men, we invited a few bachelors here with us," she said.
And where better to find the hottest singles than CultureMap's Most Eligible Bachelor and Bachelorette series? A handful of our Most Eligible, including Spencer Lane, Trey Bahney, Keith Sparks, Jason Luong and James A. Watkins, were on hand to charm the crowd.
Each bachelor took turns onstage being quizzed by Frankel, who didn't mince words. When Luong took his turn center stage, she cut to the chase, asking the bachelor and criminal defense attorney, "How big is your penis and how much do you make?"
Without skipping a beat, Luong held his hands out and spread them as far as his arms could reach.
Turning her attention to the audience, Frankel kept things interesting with a Q&A "Ask Me Anything" session. When I asked Frankel what dating advice she would give to all the single ladies, she responded with a smile, "Men just want to get laid. Don't give it up and drop the ball, so to speak."
Prior to Frankel's appearance, comedian Tom Riles kept the audience entertained they sipped on an assortment of cocktails from Skinnygirl.
Catch more of Frankel and footage from her Houston event when "Bethenny" premieres Sept. 9 on Fox 26 at 3 p.m.
