Pet of the week - Khloe terrier
Khloe is house trained, polite on walks, and can come home with you for free.  Photo courtesy of Citizens for Animal Protection

Name: Khloe, as in ... nope, not going there. This is a Kardashian-free zone. (However, pro wrestling is still our passion.)

Birthdate: May 24, 2015. I'm small, only 16 pounds, so I've got a good long run ahead of me.

Ethnicity: I'm a terrier mix of cute, playful, and sweet. I'm house trained and polite on walks. I'm the real deal, total package. I will do best as the only dog in the house. I'm sort of a protective gal, who keeps her family safe.

Here's the deal, I'm available for adoption on Friday, May 31, but if you want to roll the dice: Citizens for Animal Protection is having a spectacular no-fee adoption event on Saturday, June 1. That's right, every living, breathing creature in the entire shelter can be adopted for free. That includes dogs, cats, birds, you name it. As Ron Popeil says: wait, there's more!

Once you qualify as an adoptive pet parent, CAP will throw in — absolutely free of charge — spay/neutering, vaccinations, a complete physical exam, microchip ID, and free obedience training coupon. West Houston Subaru is picking up the tab for all adoptions, 11 am to 6 pm Saturday. This will be the best, longest-lasting, no-regrets deal you'll ever make.

Come and get me: I'm available for adoption at 11 am Friday, May 31 at Citizens for Animal Protection (17555 Katy Freeway; 281-497-0591). Tell them, "Ken sent me."
