Lyle Lovett spills his Houston haunts to USA Today

With all eyes on the city he calls home, Lyle Lovett is getting in the Houston advice game, giving his favorite places in town to USA Today.

If you want to experience H-Town like a true Texas original, you can take Lyle's advice and eat at Ninfa's on Navigation and RDG + Bar Annie ("Just the other day I had a marinated flank steak with a potato enchilada and the best tortilla soup anywhere," Lovett says. "Everything was great.")

Lovett also gives a nod to folk music haven Anderson Fair, the Houston Zoo, Discovery Green, Rothko Chapel ("The space is just so wonderful. It really does transport you out of the real world into the world of art. It makes everything go quiet.") and more.
