Symphony executive director Mark VanBesien and music director Hans Graf were in high spirits after after Emanuel Ax's crowd pleasing performance during the Jones Hall opening concert. The audience also got a s preview of "The Planets -- An HD Odyssey." Graf will lead the symphony's performance of Gustav Holst's musical score "The Planets" featuring NASA images from space at Carnegie Hall in January.
