What: Be An Angel’s Eighth Annual Purse Bingo

Where: Bayou City Event Center

The scoop: Luxury handbags, a little haute friendly competition, and a whole lot of giving. Be An Angel’s Eighth Annual Purse Bingo on February 20 was a fashion-forward fundraiser with heart. The sold-out soirée, presented by CenterPoint Energy and chaired by Nancy Reese, brought together 700 ladies (and a few lucky dapper gents) for a night of high-energy bingo and shopping. We prefer retail therapy.

Emcee George Lindsey and 610 Sports Radio’s Sean Pendergast kept the crowd entertained, while handbag models Dan Pastorini, Lincoln Obie, Ernie Agbobock, Cole McCall, and Logan Flasowski strutted their stuff, showcasing coveted designer bags from Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, and more.

But it wasn’t just about the bingo; Twenty pop-up retailers offered everything from chic hats and handbags to homemade salsas and Greek olive oils, making sure guests left with more than just prizes.
