What: Recipe for Success "Dress for Dinner" evening with Nanette Lepore.
Where: The couture salon at Neiman Marcus for a fashion presentation and dinner with Lepore in the Mariposa restaurant where catering whiz chef James Ashley ruled in the kitchen.
The 411: More than 100 fashionistas joined the party where Lepore ruled and her spring looks filled the runway with fashions in her signature vibrant hues. Accompanying the designer on this evening was her daughter, Violet, who often serves as her mother's muse. Recipe for Success founder Gracie Cavnar announced that Lepore was contributing 10 percent of sales on this evening to the non-profit that targets childhood obesity. Dress for Dinner chairs Leisa Holland-Nelson and Laura Max Nelson welcomed the guests, 100 percent of their ticket purchases benefiting the program.
