John Travolta on call for Houston's Not So Silent Night bash, mirror ball andall, at The Capitol
The Capitol at St. Germain morfed from restaurant into roaring '70s disco scene Saturday night when Momentum Audi GM Jared Lang pulled out the stops once again for his annual Not So Silent Night bash that collected donations for Child Advocates and playthings for Toys for Tots.
Scores of guests wearing Afro wigs and bell bottoms evoked the best of that disco-laced era while the mirror ball whirled overhead and LG Entertainment spun the tunes of the likes of ABBA, Marvin Gaye and the Bee Gees as well as contemporary music.
Jared, channeling John Travolta, performed a special tribute of sorts to "Staying Alive" and had the crowd working the moves from Saturday Night Fever.
Stepping out on this retro night were Sharron Melton, Jeff Shell, Kim Padgett, Mark Sullivan, Cara Morales, Jeff Gremillion, Beth Bryant, Cortney Cole, Neal Hamil, Michelle Yeglic, Jason Reeves and Karina and Carlos Barbieri.
