Houston young professionals get 'wild' at Memorial Park bridge bash

The scoop: More than 220 community-driven young Houstonians got their glow on in support of Memorial Park Conservancy at the fifth annual Urban Wild Bridge Bash, Glow in the Park, presented by Ernst & Young.
Members and guests bundled up and braved the chilly temperatures on Memorial Park’s Living Bridge to enjoy great food, drinks, and music al fresco. Highlights included a stellar soundtrack by DJ John Tran; passed appetizers by Churrascos Catering; drinks from Deep Eddy Vodka, Montrose Cheese & Wine, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Topo Chico USA and Tenfold Coffee; sweet treats from Georges et Lulu; photos with Smilebooth Texas; and door prizes.
The event garnered more than $30,000 for The Conservancy. Funds raised will help continue the day-to-day care and maintenance of Memorial Park. Urban Wild is a group of emerging leaders who actively support the work of Memorial Park Conservancy through membership and service.
