Masquerade party with a Gatsby theme is big winner for Jamie's Hope
What: The second annual Masquerade for a Cure Gala benefiting Jamie's Hope Foundation.
Where: River Oaks Country Club.
The 411: The Great Gatsby-inspired decor set the stage for the gala that raised $111,000 for the foundation that supports research at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. The Richard Brown Orchestra performed and J&D Entertainment characters spiced up the party action including a Gatsby-inspired performance of the Charleston.
Who: A host of honorary chairs contributed to the night's success including Bob Allen, Michael Chabala, John and Elizabeth Ehrman, Mark Levesque, Milovy Rodriguez, Angela Lipsey, Brad and Joanna Marks, Trey and Jessica McCreary, Brent Milam, Lara Bell, Lamar and Theresa Roemer, Rucks and Simone Russell, David and Lauren Thomas, Kevin and Caroline Walter and Lee and Seliece Womble. Jamie's Hope founder Jamie Gilmore thanked them all.
