Could there have been a few future CEOs in the mix at Advantage BMW in Midtown the other night? Possibly, as the Houston Downtown Alliance's Emerging Leaders young professionals group drew 150 up-and-comers to a party that was themed in the tradition of Tom Hanks' Big.
Releasing their inner child, guests tested their skills at the Saint Arnold ring toss, the giant Jenga and cornhole and tussled in billowing sumo suits. The entertainment included a clown providing balloon creations, a caricaturist and a DJ spinning tunes for the night.
Sustenance for the twentysomething and thirtysomething crowd came from BlackFinn American Grille, Saint Arnold Brewing Co. and Republic Tequila.
The youthful party crowd included Emerging Leaders chair Jillian VanZelfden, Paul Pettie, Matt Mullenweg, Kelly Ann Vitacca, Marcus Carter and Leslie Jackson, Michael Coppens, Elizabeth Cleveland, Stacy Robinson, Kelly Kindred and Houston Downtown Alliance CEO Andrew Huang.
