The 411: Theoretical physicist and best-selling author Kaku was interviewed by former astronaut Ellen Ochoa, director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, discussing the impact of science and technology throughout the world. Throughout the evening, the physicist kept the audience engaged with humorous and locally focused comments. Irma Diaz-Gonzalez, co-founder, president and CEO of Employment Training Centers, was recognized with the IMPACT Award, which is given for transformational leadership in the Houston area.
