Dress for Success steps stylishly into new era with groundbreaking digs, flexingwomen power
The curtain officially rose on Dress for Success Houston's new home at 3310 Eastside St. with a celebration worthy of the momentous opening. The two story, 16,600 square foot building is the first permanent facility for the international organization, which has 114 affiliates.
More than 350 supporters rallied on a Saturday evening that raised more than $340,000 for the local branch of the non-profit. None could have been more proud than president Nancy Levicki or celebration chairs Cathy and Joe Cleary and Niloufar and Amir Molavi. The funds will help continue Dress for Success' mission of not only appropriately clothing low-income women seeking employment but also providing career development resources.
