Who Needs Real Housewives?
For this Houston socialite, partying with Snooki and the Kardashians makes lifesweet
Eat your hearts out would-be celebrities. Houston's self-proclaimed socialite/fashionista Leslie Tyler Fink, with her own website and her own reality show, is dipping her heavily-pedicured toes into the waters of pop culture stardom hand-in-hand with the likes of Snooki and Kim Kardashian.
To say that LTF is on Cloud 9 would be understatement. Having made the website of OK ! magazine this week with new best friend Snooki of Jersey Shore fame, she is poised to join Kardashian on the red carpet in Las Vegas in mid-October.
But first, the Snooki connection. On Monday, LTF co-hosted, with Snooki, the "Hampton Chic Yacht Party" for the launch of Beautiful Eyes by Frownies. The party was held on a mega-yacht at the FantaSea Yacht Club in Marina del Rey, Calif., and benefited the Lili Claire Foundation. (That entity aiding children with developmental disabilities has Matthew Perry as its online spokesman.)
"They're sweethearts, all those girls," LTF said of Snooki and the group that included a Bachelorette star. "We became friends. They are darlings."
Further paving her route to celebrity, LTF and her husband, Randy Fink, were both seen in that party coverage that aired Tuesday night on Access Hollywood and Extra!
It's all part of the LTF discovery that seems to be happening in markets across the country. In recent weeks, she has been on local morning talk shows from Phoenix to South Carolina and points in between including San Antonio. Her areas of expertise that she discusses with the morning hosts are beauty, fashion and fitness.
In a few weeks, LTF is headed to Vegas for Kardashian's much-ballyhooed birthday celebration at Tao, the hotter than hot late-night spot. This was by invitation from Kardashian's people and LTF says that she will be on the red carpet there as well.
That same day, she will walk the carpet at the launch of the Nevada Wild West Music Fest , benefiting Lili Claire Foundation and headlining Kenny Rogers, Glen Campbell and John Ford Coley among others.
And, yes, she is still in talks with the producers of the would-be Real Housewives of Houston, whom she says continue to pursue her.
In the meantime, LTF is going to take a little time out from the spotlight. She is scheduled to give birth to a baby girl in late November. After two boys, she says, "I finally have my girl."
