Exercise studio entertains summer hotties with cool cocktails and healthy taste sensations
Happy hour never looked so glam nor felt so healthy as it did recently at the DEFINE body & mind studio in West University when founder Henry Richardson and his in-house natural foods chef Erin O'Leary Stewart whipped up an early evening event that attracted the workout guru's most beautiful clientele.
Pretty girls such as Kelli Colbert, Haley Urquhart and Cheryl Boblitt were among those sampling the craft cocktails composed of strictly the freshest fruits, herbs and spices in place of traditional corn syrup-laced ingredients. How about a Watermelon Hibiscus Lime Margarita or a thirst-quenching Berry Mint Mojito?
The gals (and a guy or two) joined the creative exercise shaking and stirring their concoctions that included Carrot Orange Whisky Punch and Grapefruit Thyme Spritzer. Adding a celeb note to the male contingent was KPRC Channel 2 newsman Andy Cerota.
Greenbar Craft Distillery, noted for its pure ingredients, provided the basics for the cocktails that were accompanied by carefully paired appetizers with a healthy focus.
Cocktails and fitness, you might ask? DEFINE's philosophy revolves around finding balance, according to a studio statement that adds, "when you allow yourself to kick back and enjoy a cocktail, you should do it with fresh ingredients, homemade mixers and premium liquors."
The event also served as introduction of DEFINE's kitchen where periodic workshops and demonstrations will be presented.
Among the fit and fine joining this cocktail exercise were Jackie Grant Perin, Debbie Rosengart, April Coutino, Ashley Barber, Brittany Williams, Melanie Smith-Armitage, Abbie Preston and Lindsay Pray.
