Young Professionals Party
Young professionals celebrate a decade of dressing women for business success
With Dress for Success Houston's new home less than a year old, it was an interesting 10th anniversary bash for the non-profit's YP group, Women of Wardrobe, when more than 150 poured in to celebrate at the sleek headquarters on Eastside.
WOW co-founders Traci Cook Lee and KHOU Channel 11 reporter Mia Gradney welcomed the chic crowd, all of whom know a thing or two about dressing for personal success and all of whom have taken an interest in helping less fortunate women outfit themselves for the working world. Expressing that dedication to helping others in brief remarks was designer Chloe Dao, Dress for Success supporter.
The evening's entertainment included perusing the Dao Chloe Dao and à bientôt pop-up shops, beautification at the Lot 8 Salon and Sephora Willowbrook booths and sipping on Texas peach cocktails from Izkali Tequila. Sustenance for the night's fun came from The Counter, offering custom-built burgers; Raising Cane and Satinslices.
Helping raise funds for Dress for Success were Ting Bresnehan, Rachel Rosson, Sara Connell, Kristy Bradshaw, Erin Christie, Katy Ellis, Elizabeth Abraham, Lauren Page, Sharron Melton, Claire Cormier Thielke, Lindsey Brown, Hasti Taghi and Valerie Dittner.
