Sinatra's 100th birthday anniversary sets theme for Houston Arts Alliance dinner

The scoop: Regina Garcia and Philamena Baird chaired and Trini Mendenhall served as honorary chair of the evening that honored HAA board chair Marc Melcher.
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Frank Sinatra's birth, national singing talent Cary Hoffman entertained with Sinatra stories and songs in a first-ever Houston performance.
More than 250 guests, including Mayor Sylvester Turner and HAA CEO Jonathon Glus, joined the soirée that raised $215,000 in support of programs that assist nonprofit arts and cultural organizations to increase their administrative expertise, including the resident arts incubator program and the Arts & Business Council of Greater Houston.
