Prosecco, braids and girly fun make for a Splendid spring fling benefiting The Center
While Splendid, the new store in Highland Village, is a resource for men's and kids fashions as well as feminine threads, it was pure girly fun when Monica Bickers, Meredith Riddle and Kate Stukenberg lined up a coterie of lovelies to party in the boutique while raising funds for The Center.
Splendid brought in Edward Sanchez of Vanity Lounge to paint the pretty faces and styling talent from Blow Dry Bar to give the willing gals that braided look. Tasty sustenance and prosecco to keep the shopping energy up was provided by A Fare Extraordinaire.
And energy was a good thing on this night for which Splendid gave everyone a 20 percent discount and donated 10 percent of sales to The Center. So it was cheers all around.
Perusing the colorful spring fashions were Alexandra Franklin, Helen Oettinger, Caroline Starry LeBlanc, Katie Toney, Jana Plummer, Pat Waldrop, Melissa Strong, Marsha Parker, Natalie Stomel, Jan Stomel and Margaret Fitts.
