Stroke survivor fighting a speech disorder wows a River Oaks Country Club crowd with his courage

The 411: More than 500 guests packed the River Oaks Country Club ballroom and helped raise more than $250,000 for the organization that aids aphasia (impairment in the ability to speak and understand others) patients and their families.
Nationally recognized speaker and stroke survivor, living with aphasia, Carl McIntyre wowed the gathering with the story of his challenges and determination, fueled by hope, to improve his condition.
