Supermodels, Sports Illustrated swimsuit models & super athletes to collide in one H-Town lunch
The chichi gathering in the couture salon of Neiman Marcus Wednesday night offered just a hint of the glamour to come on April 18 when the I Am Waters Foundation holds it second annual "Supermodels and Super Athlete" benefit luncheon.
I Am Waters founder and former international model Elena Davis welcomed guests along with Neiman's GM Bob Devlin for the evening that served to reveal the headliners that have signed on for the luncheon to be held at Minute Maid Park Union Station.
The group cheered as Davis announced that Jerry Hall would be joining the Supermodel lineup along with Sports Illustrated swinsuit issue cover girlJulie Henderson and Crystle Stewart, Miss USA 2008 and star on For Better or Worse. For the sports fans, Davis has signed up former Houston Astro J.R. Richard and 11-time Emmy Award-winning sports announcer Jim Gray.
Supermodels Joan Severance and Kim Charlton, both of whom attended last year's luncheon, flew in for the announcement event and plan on being at Union Station on April 18. Add Cheryl Tiegs, Kelly Emberg and Kim Alexis to the big-name models joining again this year.
Davis has also put together a handsome and impressive lineup of chairs starting with her husband Gregg Davis and including Roger Clemens, Paul Hobby, Richard Fant and Steve Trauber.
Applauding the all-star lineup were guests including Deborah Elias, Donna Alley, Lisa Kornhauser, Miya Shay, Karen Retzloff, Roseann Rogers and Dr. Aashish Shah, Jeff Shell, Elise Glattier-Hollingsworth and Esther Puig.
