Corner Table was awash in hearts and flowers and spilling over with 150 guests, many of whom dressed in prink or red, for the sixth annual Houston Sweethearts celebration.
Champagne flowed, served from shirtless, handsome devils who provided dreamy eye candy for the ladies. Funds were raised for the Mission of Yahweh homeless shelter for women and children. Spirits ran high as guitarist Andrew Batemen provided lively music. Applause, applause for Corner Table's Darla Lexington and Michelle Coopwood who sponsored the gathering.
Taking bows at 2016 Houston Sweethearts were Penny Loyd, Mary Tere Perusquia, Anne Richardson, Kristina Somerville, Sheretta West, and Carmina Zamorano. They were introduced by KHOU Great Day Houston host Deborah Duncan.
Duncan hosted the event along with Anne Carl, Sylvia Forsythe, Kim Moody, Alicia Smith, and Warner Roberts, who founded the event.
The party crowd included Gail Brown, Millette Sherman, Sidney Faust, Betty Hrncir, Kathi Rovere, Mehrnaz Gill, Donna Vallone, Joann Crassas, Laurette Veres, Kim Padget, Maryann Hoffer, Charity Yarborough and Chris Kase.
