"Animal House" theme gives TIRR Foundation young supporters a reason to party
Anyone looking for the fast track out of reality and into a world of uninhibited partying need look no further than the TIRR Foundation's annual young professionals bash. Check out Saturday night's fundraiser at the House of Blues where the kids channeled the late John Belushi and other Delta Tau Chi fraternity brothers and their femmes.
"Animal House: Get Your Toga On With TIRR" was the theme of the Junior VolunTIRRs annual fundraising bash for the TIRR Foundation, which raises monies for research into rehabilitative medicine for those with sustained neurological injury.
Emily Duff and Lacey Liedtke led the charge as chairs of the event for which most of the 250 guests dressed to impress in togas, frat shirts and sorority logos. Brittany Cassin came as Marion Wormer, Dean Wormer's wife, while Robert Urquhart dressed as "D-Day" and Allison Sample reprised the role of Mandy Pepperidge. Steve Thompson channeled "The Flounder."
Among those taking the college kid roles seriously and dancing up a storm to the sounds of the Spazmatics were Lauren Clark, Matt Gordon, Bevin and Dan Dubrowski, Lindley and Jason Arnoldy, Lacey Fluor and Lee Bischoff.
