With two decades of keeping tabs on the city's party scene, The Social Book unveiled its 2015 edition at the annual mega launch party, this year following the theme "Around the World in One Night."
Special events planner Paul-David Van Atta joined forces with Social Book owners Scott Evans, Jeff Henry and Sami Shbeeb to knock the socks off of the 800 guests joining the party in the Hilton Americas-Houston ballroom.
Fifteen food stations, the sounds of Richard Brown musicians and Flashdrive, gaming tables, international vignettes created by the likes of Todd Events and Let It Fly Events entertained throughout the action-packed party scene. Think monumental arrangements from Flowers by Nino, 15-foot high Greek Corinthian columns, an Arc de Triomphe and a 60-foot long fiesta backdrop.
Houston Area Lexus Dealers, ContentActive and Silver Eagle Distributors stepped up as major sponsors for the event that was hosted by the hotel.
The party crowd included the 2015 Houston Treasures along with Treasures founder Warner Roberts. Others in the mix were Carol and Tom Sawyer, Cliff and Angie Roberts, Yvonne and Rufus Cormier, Neda Ladjevardian and Bill King, Joann and Bill Crassas, Rachel and Tom Regan and Carolyn and Mike Mann.
