Fox Hollow tries to class up the Washington Corridor bar scene with boutiquewines
Fox Hollow, from the same gents behind the original Bond's Lounge in Midtown, is set to open Oct. 6 in a converted 1960s warehouse just off of Washington Avenue at 4617 Nett St., across the street from Nox Bar.
The self-described green-centric gastro lounge will offer locally sourced organic food, cocktails and a selection of "boutique and undiscovered wines." The interior includes vintage Parisian doors, stained glass windows, antique dishes and stemware and makes use of materials found on the build site.
We like the sound of the interior — and we're interested to see how it fares in the one of the fist-pumpiest parts of the Washington Corridor. Half the building will remain vacant, potentially for a future restaurant, and the Fox (gloriously) has its own parking.
