The terms of the deal have not been released, but Eric Dopkins will continue as president of the Austin-based distiller.

Deep Eddy Vodka was founded in Austin by Clayton Christopher and Chad Auler. The company will continue to produce its product at the Austin-area distillery and be available throughout Houston.
"The Deep Eddy team and their distributor partners will remain in place and continue to build on the exceptional momentum of the brand alongside Heaven Hill," said Dopkins.
Heaven Hill Brands was founded in 1935 and is based in Bardstown, Kentucky. Heaven Hill is nation's largest independent, family-owned and operated spirits producer and marketer and the world's second-largest holder of Kentucky Bourbon.
