Surprise! Famed New York chef set to hold a pop-up dinner in H-Town
This news should set foodie hearts atwitter. Olivier Reginensi, the new executive chef at New York's famed Le Cirque, is planning a series of pop-up dinners across the country, and he's including a stop in Houston.
According to Eater, Reginensi will be creating "a more casual version of Le Cirque" at dinners hosted by ClubCorp private clubs between March and July, stopping in Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta and five locations in California.
Each pop-up dinner will accommodate 200 guests and be served family style. The menus will feature local, seasonal ingredients and include a theme (such as truffles).
“It will show people this is not your dad’s Le Cirque any more,” Le Cirque co-general manager Carlo Mantica told Eater.
No word yet on which club in Houston will be hosting Reginensi or the exact date of his visit.
Have you eaten at Le Cirque? How much would you pay to get in to the Reginensi dinner?
