Bulls on parade
Texans defensive line beefs up for Patriots game with big meal at Tony's — andthere's a lot at steak
The Houston Texans are undoubtedly the underdog in the divisional playoffs matchup against the Patriots on Sunday, and some predict that a strong defensive line is the Texans' only chance against their formidable foe — and unstoppable New England quarterback Tom Brady.
That puts a lot of pressure on the Bulls on Parade. So how do they beef up before the big game? A meal out at Tony's, of course.
General manager Scott Sulma tells CultureMap that defensive end J.J. Watt and inside linebackers Brian Cushing and Bradie James dined with "about 18 other players" in the restaurant's San Remo Room on Thursday evening.
Sulma says the meal was something of a "mild celebration" before this weekend's game. The defensive line enjoyed homemade pasta tastings, prime dry aged steaks, house butchered fresh fish selections and more at Houston's haute cuisine mainstay.
