Home design superstar goes laminate crazy: But you've never seen it like this — a classic goes bold
Bringing the Adler touch to your home is easier than ever thanks to a buzzy new Formica offering, The Jonathan Adler Collection.
Just introduced at the Kitchen and Bath Industry's annual trade mega show, the nine bold colorways and pattern combinations are making quite the splash. The collection is perfect for countertops, backsplashes, vanities, cabinets and more.
"I want to laminate everything in my life with the new line."
"Formica brand laminates are iconic, and it has been a dream to be able to include some of my favorite patterns, colors and motifs in the collection," the home furnishings designer extraordinaire says in a statement. "The uses for laminate are limitless; I can’t wait to use the styles from my collection in my stores and design projects — I want to laminate everything in my life with the new line."
Lacquered Linen
Inspired by Mid-Century modern furniture, Alder takes a new spin on a classic texture to create a glossy finish with his "Lacquered Linen" composite material. Hues in orange, green, creme tones and charcoal are included in the color options.
Malachite
The shiny, swirling pattern in Adler's "Malachite" surfacing thrives in bold spaces, especially in the offered shades of crisp blue and charcoal. Make it the focal point of the kitchen or utilize it behind the scenes in a powder room. Wherever it ends up, it’s sure to be a conversation starter.
Greek Key
Adler updates this classic motif with bold matte colors and an increase in scale with "Greek Key." The clean lines are available in colors that pop in kitchens, baths and other spots about the house.
And remember: All three designs can be laid horizontally or vertically to designate a specific space — including a backsplash wall.
