CultureMap Pop Up Shop
A sneak peek of the shopping event of the season: This Holiday Pop Up is full of unique gifts
Houston knows its shopping. Between the city's cozy boutiques and grand malls there are a lot of choices, so when it came to curating a selection of retailers for CultureMap’s first-ever Holiday Pop Up Shop, it was no easy task.
The 29 retailers selected for the Sunday market represent some of the city’s best spots for fashion, accessories, gifts, home decor and more.
The 29 retailers selected for the Sunday market represent some of the city’s best spots for fashion, accessories, gifts, home decor and more, so we thought we’d let shoppers in on just what to expect at the pop up shop Sunday at Silver Street Studios in a Joel Luks-produced video (watch above).
WildBloom Boutique is ready for the holidays, showcasing versatile apparel, like a black jumpsuit with sleeves that has the appeal of a LBD in a fresh new way. Look for WildBloom’s mesh animal print clutches and colorful jewelry at the holiday pop up.
Shoppers looking for meaningful gifts that make a difference will want to stop by 10,000 Villages. The non-profit store sells hand-crafted art, jewelry and other items from artisans around the world. Holiday items like menorahs and ornaments are among the pop up shop goodies.
For those who seem to have everything or are just a smidge difficult to shop for, we like the selection of gifts and accessories from St. Cloud and Cuatro. Luxurious leather bags, whimsical wall art, stunning jewelry and one of the most fragrant candles we’ve ever sniffed are among the treasures available Sunday from the two retailers, and there are a host of other great items in the mix too.
With so many shopping options under one roof, the CultureMap Holiday Pop Up Shop is sure to put plenty of jingle in your step this season.
The first-ever CultureMap Holiday Pop Up Shop is this Sunday, Dec. 7 from noon to 6 p.m. at Silver Street Studios. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here. (In the spirit of the season, a portion of the $10 tickets will be donated to VICTORY and the Washington Avenue Arts District.)
