College wrestler-turned-businessman is in the pink at stylish soiree
You wouldn't necessarily expect a gent to step out in pink dress shirt and plaid bow tie at the buttoned-down Greater Houston Partnership Soirée, but Brett Robinson was just the fellow to go the metrosexual fashion route for the evening at Hotel ZaZa.
The native of Amarillo, who spent his college career pursuing high honors in wrestling, says, "I am always on the move and in different environments, so my style has to be flexible. I am not sure if I would pin myself to any particular style, but I know what I like and I’m not afraid to wear pink as you can see."
In fact, his outfit for the evening began with the stylish pink shirt by Bugatchi that he teamed with a suit from Kenneth Cole. The plaid bow tie was a find at Nordstrom and his shoes were Steve Madden. Perhaps the fashion panache comes from the time that he lived in Orange County, Calif., before moving to Houston eight years ago.
With a degree in civil engineering with emphasis on architectural engineering, Brett is president of Green Team Environmental, a company he founded more than three years ago specializing in pressure washing and window cleaning, both residential and high-rise.
