From her second-floor design studio overlooking Rice Village, Elaine Turner has been creating purses, shoes and accessories, coveted by women in Houston and beyond, for a dozen years. But now her unique mix of preppy sophistication and boho beach vibes is going a little country, with Turner announcing plans to open two new boutiques, including one in Nashville.
In addition to Nashville, Turner plans to open a boutique in The Woodlands' Market Street development this fall, bringing the total of pink-hued boutiques to five.
While Nashville will be her first dedicated location outside of Texas, Elaine Turner goods are hardly a local secret anymore. In addition to a slew of national press appearances, the accessories are already sold in 30 states at department stores like Neiman Marcus as well as local boutiques.
In addition to Nashville, Turner plans to open a boutique in The Woodlands' Market Street development this fall, bringing the total of pink-hued stores to five. The new locations come on the heels of a ritzy new store in San Antonio, Turner's first outside Houston, which opened in July.
Who knows, with this kind of expansion, will these boots (and wedges and clutches) be made for walking all the way to New York City?
