The British lifestyle brand has made its way into the newly renovated wing of The Galleria near Saks Fifth Avenue. Known for its modern sophistication, the brand's menswear, womenswear, accessories and travel lines are all available for a shopping splurge. Each new store location is designed in tribute of something unique to its host city. A nod to the Houston's expertise in the Space age is represented by light fixtures adorned with little astronauts and intergalactic wallpaper illuminated by celestial looking lights. The popular bespoke Guayaberas brand has moved from a tiny space in Avalon Center to a much larger storefront on River Oaks Boulevard next to Abiento and Mariquita Masterson. The location is decked out with racks and racks of the classic, Latin flavored shirt designs for men, women and children made from cool natural fabrics ready to be monogrammed and taken home. A large display of fabrics and threads await shoppers to design their own shirts from scratch with attention to every detail from pin tucks to pockets. 2503 River Oaks Boulevard
The West University womenswear shop with a giant following known for its effortlessly cool garb has launched a consignment concept of sorts. Shoppers can bring their gently loved past Abejas purchases back to be consigned on Abejas Upcylced. With items like Golden Goose sneakers for a third of the price and barely worn leather leggings and dresses by Raquel Allegra and Humanoid on sale you can get some serious cool while not breaking the bank. As the owner of women’s boutique Brooke Feather in the River Oaks Shopping Center decided to step back and take time for her family, Saint Cloud owner Jessica Rodriguez and creative director Cecilia Marquez transformed the space into its second location. The Rice Village Saint Cloud store boasts whimsical and stand out clothing and accessories and architecturally inspired artisanal home goods. Taking major influence from the west coast, low key chic feel of its previous tenant, the new shop is a perfect combination of Brooke Feather and St. Cloud aesthetic, with such new labels as o include new labels such as Ulla Johnson, Ampersand as Apostrophe, and Mother.This lovechild is already proving to be a big hit for shoppers in the area. 2020 W. Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Watch
The French luxury fashion house has launched its first smartwatch or "connected watch" as the brand calls it. Developed in partnership with Google and Android, the watch is similar in design to the classic shape of the Tambour line of analog watches that have been sold since 2002. The digital revamp comes with several face options that can be switched at the click of a button and of course many different leather bands. With fancy features like up to date flight info and a City Guide with curated lists of hotels, restaurants and hotspots, its like a concierge on your wrist.
