I am what you might call an easy-to-target consumer.
If you gloss a pair or flats or platforms with glitter, I'll wear them like it's New Year's Eve 1999. I drink the consumer KoolAid willingly every day, and I'm not alone. Many of us have a soft spot for material goods, especially when those goods make us feel a connection to something outside of ourselves we love, such as a book, movie, character or cultural identity.
