Chic Houston pop-up sale goes deep with discounts on Dior, Chanel, and more
Houston fashionistas have a lot on their calendars: trunk shows, sample sales, galas, and fundraisers. But one sale might rank above all of those, and the budget-conscious will want to clear some room in the closet for this one: The Chic Boutique by the Salvation Army’s Women’s Auxiliary.
The annual sale traditionally offers designer labels for as much as to 90 percent off. The pop-up at 1131-8 Uptown Park Blvd. has deep discounts on gently used clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories from luxury brands like Chanel, Christian Dior, and Louis Vuitton, as well labels like Lily Pulitzer and Ann Taylor. Some of them may still have the tags.
Expect the couture labels like Chanel and Dior to be priced between $1 (yes, $1) and $300. Mid-tier designers such as Pulitzer will be priced at $40 and everyday brands will be priced at $20.
And while the stock is expected to sell out quickly, insiders suggest stopping back in on Saturday, when even deeper discounts will be available.

The four-day Chic Boutique sale runs Wednesday, April 17 through Saturday, April 20. Hours Thursday and Friday are 10 am to 7 pm; Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. The suggested donation on Wednesday is $20.
