An exclusive insider's sneak peek at Kate Spade's buzzy new Houston store — VIP dressing rooms included
Are you prepared to shop 'til you drop with style? Well, get ready, since Kate Spade New York's new flagship store in Highland Village is now open for business.
The 6,000-square-foot store — the first flagship outside of the retailer's Madison Avenue location — is just what you would expect from a label known for its bright and playful sensibility. Featuring custom-made mid-century modern furniture, a VIP dressing area with four individually decorated suites and a shoe salon, the store provides the perfect setting for some serious retail therapy.
The new boutique features the exclusive Madison Avenue collection.
Kate Spade officials commissioned local artist Joseph Cohen to create the huge pink neon bow that sits atop the store, as well as a gorgeous floral brass sculpture used to showcase the brand's distinctive handbags.
The beautiful boutique features the exclusive Madison Avenue collection — only available at the brand's two flagship store and online— as well as a stunning collaborative collection with Swarovski. The Houston store also carries a wide array of bright frocks, shiny shoes and housewares.
