Seems like Billy Crystals's uneven hosting performance and moving acceptance speeches by Meryl Streep and Octavia Spencer aren't the only things that the 84th annual Academy Awards will be remembered for.
Soon after Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet in a black Atelier Versace gown with a thigh-high slit revealing most of her leg, the actress's body part got its own Twitter account @AngiesRightLeg, which now has more than 15,000 followers.
Jolie fanned the flames further when she struck another leggy pose onstage during the Oscars while presenting the Best Adapted Screenplay award and was parodied by one of the winners.
Not to be outdone, Jennifer Lopez's nipple now has its own Twitter account, @JLosNipple. The account was created after Lopez appeared onstage with Cameron Diaz to present the Best Costume Design award and something appeared to peek out of the plunging neckline of her gown.
Lopez’s stylist, Mariel Haenn, denied there was any nipple slippage. In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, she said,
The Oscar dress was custom made for Jennifer by designer Zuhair Murad. The dress fit perfectly to her every inch. There were cups built in and there’s no chance that there were any how do you say? ‘slips.’ While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, jokes on everyone who wishes they saw something! If you thought that dress was hot wait until you see what’s next.”
But Lopez's body part seemed to be enjoying the notoriety. "Did you see me?" it asked on the Twitter account, which has grown to more than 2,500 followers and seems to be having more fun than Jolie's leg.
We looked at both Twitter accounts. Here's a sample:
