My Paloma: Picasso collections celebrate 30 years with Tiffany & Co.

Thirty years after her spunky, colorful jewelry creations first made a splash at Tiffany & Co., Paloma Picasso is proving she still has more tricks up her sleeve.
To commemorate the anniversary, Picasso has designed three new lines for spring.
- Paloma means dove in Spanish, and as an homage to her name and the symbol of peace, Picasso created the Dove collection of four delicate figures in flight, in sterling silver, gold and diamonds. Despite the self-referencial nature, it's probably the most divergent from Picasso's signature chunky style, but quite lovely in its own more simple way. These doves could be the next must-have charm following the initial circles or Tiffany's own keys that made a big splash last fall.
- The Hammered Circles collection looks rather boring on paper—just some interlocking gold rings of different sizes—but in person they really dazzle. This isn't just a necklace, it's a statement piece that hangs the length of your torso. Up close, the hammered details of each imperfectly circular ring are visible, and it's this rough look contrasted with the impossibly thin and light 18k gold that makes the piece spectacular. One version has a few of the gold rings unceremoniously replaced with diamonds for a surprisingly subtle but rich look.
- The largest and most dynamic collection is Marrakesh, inspired by Picasso's love of Morocco. Delicate gold filigree in patterns reminiscent of the Alhambra line lapis lazuli pendants and a thick blue enamel ring and sit flat on oversized silver dangle earrings. A thick, hollow cuff of the gold pattern would be as pretty and as versatile a statement as Diana Vreeland's famed Maltese Cross pair by Verdura. The biggest dazzler is an egg-shaped gold filigree pendant with tiny turquoise beading, particularly when worn with the matching necklaces of turquoise, gold diamonds and eight-sided stars.
Whether as solitary statements or part of a bling-tastic, more-is-more look, each collection is classic Paloma Picasso: Whimsical, modern and of-the-moment yet classically timeless, so you'll be wearing them for the next thirty years.
