Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton garnered rave reviews for their duet of "America the Beautiful" before Sunday's Super Bowl in Indianapolis. Lambert also drew a lot of attention for her sparkling shoulder duster earrings, which thrilled Houston jewelry designer Lauren Craft.
Craft created the oversized ruby-colored tourmaline and diamond teardrop earrings, which retail for $13,200 at Sloan/Hall.
Lambert paired the earrings with a black leather jacket by Jitrois, a shirt by L'Agence, pants by Current/Elliott and shoes by Alice & Olivia. The ensemble was put together by Lambert's stylist, Tiffany Gifford, who grew up in Katy.
Lambert appears to have a thing about wearing creations by Houston jewelry designers to big events. She wore a Bullet Girl necklace crafted by Houston designer Jessica Meyer when she performed live at a Country Music Association event last fall, where she had just received a record nine CMA nominations.
Hopefully Lambert will have time to fit in some Houston shopping when she headlines a RodeoHouston concert on March 13.
