Comic legend Jerry Seinfeld pops in to Houston for new concert

Jerry Seinfeld will perform in The Woodlands in June.
One of America’s most successful comedians is returning to the Houston area this summer. Jerry Seinfeld will perform at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands on Saturday, June 7.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 14 at 10 am on livenation.com. Various presales begin this Tuesday, March 11 and continue throughout the week.
For now, the dates appears to be a one-off without any other dates in Texas. Seinfeld is currently in the middle of a 24-city tour that runs from February 21 in Rockford, IL to May 30 in Madison, WI. He'll go back on the road in July and August with a few dates in Canada and New England. His most recent Houston-area appearance was in 2024 at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land.
His eponymous TV show Seinfeld, made in collaboration with comedian Larry David, ran for nine seasons and earned countless awards, including 10 Emmy wins and 68 nominations; solidified iconic comedic acting careers like that of Julia Louis-Dreyfus; and has inspired other influential sitcoms as well as an ongoing list of increasingly odd parodies.
Seinfeld's big break came on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1981, and like many comedians his best work has always revolved around others in show business, including the more recent (2012-2019) web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
He has also ventured into writing films (Bee Movie) and books (Is This Anything?), and chairs for the Good+ Foundation, which addresses generational poverty and the role of fathers.
Fans can see Seinfeld's most recent work in the 2024 Netflix movie Unfrosted. A 2017 Netflix special called Jerry Before Seinfeld also gives fans a closer look at other parts of the comedian's career.
