Is Brittani Senser dating the new Kevin Federline?
What happens when a social climbing, deadbeat dad gets entwined with a pop starlet with a Britney name variation? He gets comparisons to Kevin Federline.
And that special someone getting designated the new K-Fed is none other than Levi Johnston: Rising sex icon, Bristol Palin's baby daddy and awards ceremony companion to Brittani Senser.
When the duo showed up hand-in-hand at the MTV Teen Choice Awards, Johnston and self-described "rising pop princess" Senser were declared a match made in B-list heaven. Brit's got bonafide reality TV background, having made it to the final rounds of MTV's Making the Band 3, so she's poised to mentor Levi in his pitch for a new show chronicling his mayoral election campaign in Wasilla, Alaska — the "Crystal Meth Capital of Alaska" and the same village where Sarah Palin kicked off her career.
Staying true to Bristol's accusation, "He's just obsessed with the limelight," Levi is asking to his extend his 15 minutes of fame into a half hour per week with Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office. Asked why Mr. Johnston's show was publicized even though it lacks a channel, Canaan Rubin, an executive producer, said in an e-mail to The New York Times that "a pilot is in preproduction and several networks are interested."
The interested parties have not been identified. Relatedly, the position does not come up for election until 2012.
More recently, the Johnston-Senser pair collaborated on a music video for Senser's latest single, "My Love," in which Johnston plays a man who is seemingly threatened by his lover's mother in order to get him out of her daughter's life. Senser told Radaronline.com, "I'm sure that (Sarah Palin's) going to feel like it's a little bit of a low blow to her, you know, but to be honest even if Levi wasn't in the video it probably would still be the same storyline."
Nice save, Brit. A native of the Twin Cities with a bad case of Nicky Hilton face, Senser writes on her own Facebook page, "The voice of a new generation, Brittani delivers a sultry blend of pop and R&B." Her upcoming track promises to be a mid-tempo love song that "features deep soul vocals that radiate passion." That passion isn't directed at Levi, though: Johnston told Entertainment Tonight that the two are not dating.
Meanwhile, Bristol's in recovery mode from her broken engagement with the Playgirl star and the YouTube video he posted poking fun at the Palins.
Having admitted that she "got played," she's putting herself back on the market, searching for true love with baby in tow: "I have faith that I'll find it. Through this whole experience I know I need a man who's going to be completely honest with me and someone who loves me and Tripp and wants to be with him all the time. I also want someone who has religious beliefs and a good family."
Get an earful of Brittani's Natasha Beddingfield-style vocals wrapped up in a push-up bra, as seen in a recent video, "Cupid:"
