Chowing Down With Beyoncé
Queen Bey and Jay-Z on a calorie-stuffing binge while eating their way across H-Town
Give the woman some fried chicken and waffles, fried shrimp, and catfish! After Saturday night's soldout Formation World Tour, Beyoncé seemed to say "calories be damned" as she headed for BBs Cajun Cafe at Upper Kirby on Richmond to chow down on that eatery's seafood best.
After a killer performance like her night at NRG Stadium, a girl works up an appetite. She ordered BBs fried shrimp and fried catfish, according to BBs Instagram.
It seems that the hungries continued into Sunday when Beyoncé spent Mother's Day like many Houston moms. She and hubby Jay-Z, their youngster Blue Ivy, and Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson and her husband Richard Lawson, booked a table for brunch at B&B Butchers and Restaurant on Washington Avenue.
In the privacy of the the butcher shop in the front of the restaurant, the star-studded table ordered Alaskan king crab legs, crab-stuffed shrimp, fried chicken and waffles, B&B Bellini cheesecake and creme brulée.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z topped off the day by making at stop at one of her favorite Houston haunts — The Menil Collection.
If you missed Saturday's performance, the Formation World Tour has added a second Houston date, Sept. 22. Those tickets go on sale at noon on Friday at www.livenation.com.
