After first announcing a few of its headlining acts (no George Strait this year, sorry folks) earlier, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo released the remainder of its full lineup of entertainers Monday morning.
Along with Alabama (opening night, Feb. 28), Big Time Rush (March 4), Zac Brown Band (March 12) and Brad Paisley (March 17), the 2012 Houston Rodeo will welcome:
Kid Rock (Feb. 29), Lady Antebellum (March 1), John Legend (March 2), Luke Bryan (March 3), Eli Young Band (March 5), Enrique Iglesias (March 6), Blake Shelton (March 7), ZZ Top (March 8), Reba McEntire (March 9), Chris Young (March 10), Duelo and La Original Banda El Limon (March 11), Miranda Lambert (March 13), The Band Perry (March 14), Jason Aldean (March 15), Train (March 16) and Alan Jackson (March 18).
We're excited for newlywed couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, cutie newcomer Luke Bryan (who sings the hit "I Don't Want This Night to End") and especially John Legend, on whom we are nursing a huge crush. You can have your Enrique.
Be sure to check out the more intimate live acts at The Hideout, located on the east side of the Astrodome, as well. This tented venue is great for late-night dancing and carousing with an exclusively 21 and up crowd.
The 2012 Houston Rodeo runs Feb. 28 to March 18. For more information or to purchase season and mini-season passes, click here. Individual tickets go on sale Jan. 14 at 10 a.m.
