It's time to set out the red carpet for Houston — and schedule that next spa getaway. The iconic Spa at the Post Oak Hotel has won the World Spa Award for Texas' Best Hotel Spa in 2023.

Visitors and hotel guests never have to worry about receiving less than the best service at this impressive spa. With its wide-ranging repertoire of opulent massages, body scrubs, facial treatments, and more, the 20,000-square-foot spa is an unrivaled destination for those seeking the utmost care.

"This is an incredible honor and a testament to the hard work of each member of our team," said Spa Director at The Post Oak Hotel Daisy Tepper in a press release. "We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service to every guest who visits The Spa."

World Spa Award nominees and winners are voted on by hotel and spa industry professionals, media personnel, and the general public after a "year-long search" for the world's best spas, according to a release on the World Spa Awards website.

Rebecca Cohen, the World Spa Awards' managing director, commended the growth and exception quality seen throughout the spa and wellness industry in a statement.

"We have seen a notable increase in first-time World Spa Awards recipients, whilst previous winners also continue to push the boundaries of excellence by retaining their titles," Cohen said. "All winners have shown dedication to delivering exceptional spa and wellness experiences and we are excited to share these achievements with the world."

Two additional spas out of the six total nominees were also based in Houston: The Spa at The St. Regis Houston and the Trellis Spa at The Houstonian.

The remaining nominees were the Spa by JW Austin at JW Marriott Austin, The Spa at Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas, and The Spa at the Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.
